As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc. Location: M7A 0B6 What's in it for you? - Hourly wage of $18.35 - We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy - Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld - Part-time opportunities - Sat & Sun: 0600-1800 - Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities For Surveillance Security Guard - Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity - Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats - Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports - Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises - Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification - Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions - Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies Qualifications For Surveillance Security Guard - Be authorized to work in Canada - Hold a valid Ontario security license - WSIB approved first aid certification - Minimum 1 year of security experience - Minimum high school diploma - Strong report writing skills - Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus - Strong proficiency with technology - Ability to stand and walk throughout shift This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
